Whirly: good to go

The first time I ran a senario in Warhammer Online we won. My second try was a success as well. Not one since. I’ve done around ten, all losers. Doesn’t matter which side I play. I’m starting to think it’s me.

I’ve not done a lot of PvP, though I did get hooked on battle grounds in WoW for a little while. So I’m not a real expert or anything. I try to go-with-the-flow and contribute. It’s not working out. Today I tried something a little different. I chose the team mate who seemed the most experienced, a complete guess, and followed them. I assisted them with their target, helped kill whoever they were attacking. When I died, more than my share I think, I tracked down my partner and tried again. My side didn’t win, but it was the closest I’ve been for a while, and my battle stats after were better than usual. I may be on to something. If you’re going to lose, you might as well have a plan.

We are taking a short break from WoW, now that we’ve reached 70. I’ve read others say the game starts at 70. I don’t understand that. We’ve been able to do a few things at 70 we couldn’t do at 69, but we’ll be doing those things again, once the expansion comes out, for experience. What’s the point? We’ve tried dailies - they are geared to solo play. Daily dungeons are impossible for our small group. We’ve killed a few new bosses

I chipped in so everybody could get a flying mount. I don’t have enough gold for us all to get the fast flying mount. I got one though. I was kind of ashamed of myself. I don’t use it when we are together.

So we are playing Warhammer online. Not a bad game, though we are all still newbies, around 7. It’s good solo and with a friend. When the three of us are together, I always feel like we should be doing something. It remains to be seen if Warhammer has a something for three. LotRO didn’t. I’ve pre-ordered the WoW expansion - I’m not excited about it.
